Prefilter for SECURA 2000

PURPOSE: SECAIR 2000.11 P1 NR filters, when completed with a half mask or mask equipped with absorbers, protect the respiratory system against aerosols from solid or liquid particles, provided that the concentration of the dispersed phase of the aerosol does not exceed 4 x NDS. Filters, due to the optimal development of the filter surface and the quality of the materials used, provide very high dust absorption and very low respiratory resistance. They significantly extend the life of the absorbers.

Examples of applications of P1 class filters: - mining of hard and brown coal, granite, marble, sandstone, dolomite, etc.; - (cutting, grinding) iron, steel and stone; softwood processing in sawmills and carpentry shops - cleaning of castings and steel structures: production; - transhipment and use of lime, cement, fertilizers, raw materials for the glass and ceramic industry, raw materials for the rubber industry, production of flour and feed.

CHARACTERISTICS The SECAIR 2000.11 P1 NR filter is made of three layers of filter nonwovens: • outer layer (prefilter) – made of low-resistance non-woven fabric with a triboelectric effect, providing very low breathing resistance with very high efficiency and absorbency for particles of solid and liquid aerosols of larger sizes;

• middle layer (main filter) – made of non-woven fabric with submicron fiber diameters, captures particles of solid and liquid aerosols of smaller sizes;

• inner layer (cover) – protects the middle layer. SECAIR 2000.11 P1 NR filters mounted on SECURA 2000 LAK mask absorbers with pressure rings protect the activated carbon in the canister, increasing its service life.
