Steps to choose a collet:

• Consider the type of cooling: Ensure that the collet fits either an air-cooled or liquid-cooled holder, depending on what type your TIG holder is.
• Choose the right type of collet: There are different types of collets, including standard collets, but also others, such as smaller models like type 9 or larger ones for JUMBO type holders.

• Exact fit: The collet must be perfectly matched to the electrode to ensure stable and precise welding.
• Compatibility: Make sure the collet fits into the socket of the TIG holder and that its installation goes smoothly.
