OK Autorod 4043 is one of the most widely used aluminum welding alloys. The silicon alloying additive increases the fluidity of the pond and the ability to wet the edges of the material, facilitating welding.

The alloy is not sensitive to hot cracks, and the face of the joints is almost completely devoid of bloom. It is not recommended for joining anodizing components. The alloy is not thermally machined. Welding current DC(+).
