PENETRANT TESTING SPRAY 500ML RED

Red dye penetrant for crack test without damages. Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metal. Suitability for plastics has to be tested in advance.

Application Range:

Application:

1. 1. Clean parts thoroughly from grease, oil or other contaminants with OPN-Special Cleaner and let them dry. The cracks have to be open to the surface.
2. 2. Apply OPN-Crack Testing Agent Red on the surface and let it react for about 5-10 minutes.
3. 3. Remove excess dye penetrant, either by rinsing the surface with water or by using a slightly moistened cloth with OPN-Special Cleaner. Then dry the surface.
4. 4. Spray OPN-Developer White thinly from a distance of about 20 cm. Too much developer can hide fine cracks! Cracks are shown as red lines, the final evaluation can be made after about 5 - 10 minutes.
5. 5. OPN-Special Cleaner can be used for cleaning again.
