Flashback Arrestor Regulator Side Acetylene

Dry fuses are mounted on appropriate (oxygen or acetylene) inlet connections of the burners. They are used to protect gas installations supplying the burner against the effects of flame withdrawal and prevent the flow of gas in the direction opposite to the normal direction of flow.

The fuse design has two protections:

- a check valve to prevent gas from flowing in the direction opposite to the normal flow direction,

- flame barrier that cools the flame and extinguishes it.
